School of Earth Science and Resources Hosts Successful Third Annual International Students Academic Seminar

On January 3rd, the School of Earth Science and Resources organized its highly anticipated Third Annual International Students Academic Seminar. The event aimed to enhance students' academic performance and foster an environment for exchanging ideas with esteemed professors. Under the warm welcome of Professor Li Rongxi, the dean of the school, the seminar provided valuable guidance to the international students, encouraging them to excel academically and embrace their experience while studying in China.


Mr. Zhang Wei, the invited dean of the International Education School, began the seminar with an inspiring talk encouraging students to strive for academic excellence while also enjoying the unique experiences during their academic and personal life in China.


Ms. Ju Minghui, the Foreign Secretary, then introduced the school to the attendees, with a special emphasis on providing important information to new students. Her talk aimed to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the school's offerings, resources, and guidelines.


The highlight of the seminar was the series of high-quality academic presentations delivered by students. They shared their latest academic achievements and engaged in engaging discussions with respected professors, fostering an atmosphere of academic growth and collaboration.


 


As the seminar drew to a close, two excellent presentations were awarded as the best of the event. The recognition celebrated the outstanding efforts and contributions of the students, further motivating them to excel in their academic pursuits.
